Spread across multiple stores across the coast of the North West - this is where the magic happens. We make our Customers dreams come true by providing them with best in class service, the best prices on their holidays and ultimately move heaven and earth to find the very best holidays for our Customers.

 

Tour Operating

Based at our Support Centre in Blackpool - our Tour Operating team look after the tailor made needs of our stores. We provide the very best deals to our stores to ensure that any holiday need any of our Customers have is fully met. We have direct contracts with all of the best airlines including British Airways and Virgin Atlantic to ensure that we get you the very best deal.

 

Chillimix

Chillimix is one of the largest LGBTQ+ specialist Tour Operators in the UK. We've got fantastic rates on direct contracts ensuring that our Customers get the best and sparkliest holiday of their lifetime.

 

Retail Support Centre

Our Retail Support Centre is where all of the sparkle happens. Based just behind Blackpool Airport (BLK) - this is where we make sure all of our suppliers are paid, provide support to our retail stores and Customers alike and make sure our business runs like clockwork. Roles here include Operations, Commercial, Payroll, Support and Audit to name just a few.

Role: 
Tailor Made Travel Consultant

Hours:
40 hours per week / over 5 days

Salary:

Mix of Support Centre - Office (Blackpool) & Home / Remote Working

 

What you'll be doing:
We're recruiting for talented and passionate Tailor Made Travel Consultants to join our Support Centre in Blackpool. Working a mix of weekdays and weekends supporting our retail stores, you will provide various planning and booking services, including answering all store enquiries to perfectly tailor packages to give our Customers the very best holiday at the best value for money.

You will need to be customer focussed, self-motivated and have a full understanding of what a tailor made holiday is. You will be working alongside other Colleagues so accountability, reliability and ownership are integral.

 

Responsibilities
Support all aspects of customer service - including:

  • All calls answered and handled with a customer centric approach - remembering our stores are our Customers!
  • Responding to all Customer and store e-mails in a timely manner
  • Liaising with stores through our online chat system
  • Checking the availability of transportation on the customers desired travel dates
  • Creating quotes – tailor made to meet client requirements
  • Making reservations for customers based on their various requirements and budgetary allowances
  • Handling of customer and store payments including deposits and remaining balances
  • Ensure confirmation of booking and payment is sent to the store and/or customer in a timely manner
  • Up-selling, when appropriate, by informing customers of additional products and services

Full in-house training will be provided at our Support Centre based in Blackpool, Lancashire

Experience and skills required:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience working in a telephony-based customer support/sales role, ideally within the leisure and travel industry
  • Experienced in the conversion of quotes to confirmed bookings
  • Target driven and able to clearly demonstrate experience of working within a target driven environment
  • Demonstrable experience of webchat systems
  • Ability to handle several activities side by side
  • Exceptional written and spoken English skills
  • Motivated to deliver a first-class customer experience
  • Conflict resolution where appropriate
  • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy

Desirable experience:

  • Knowledge and use of the Galileo GDS system
  • Knowledge of low cost airlines 
  • Knowledge of DMC's, core bed banks and ground transfer operators
  • Working on a B2B basis with travel agent stores/partnerships
